have been to the lab, all tests came back negative, everything okay, BUT symptoms still persist as they have before, it is at least four months with these symptoms, WHAT COULD IT BE??? AGAIN, STRINGY, RUNNY,GREASY, FOUL SMELLING STOOLS SEVERAL TIMES A DAY. ANY HELP AND ADVICE CONCERNING THIS, THANK YOU FOR ALL ANSWERS malabsorption or pancreatic insufficiency.
you need to get a second opinion if your present dr cant help you.
if you have a gall bladder, this can happen if the stone is blocking the flow of the bile.If you had the gall bladder removed:you must see a gastro-enterologist to do more specific testing to see if the common bile duct is blocked?Have they checked your gallbladder lately? I'm guessing from your name you are male, and gallbladder troubles are more common with women but men also can have malfunctions. Not everyone with gallstones has pain, and sometimes the first noticeable symptoms would be those you describe. It's the greasy look and foul smell that suggest that to me the fat in your diet isn't being digested. Undigested fat means diarrhea and gas, and usually not such a great feeling in the gut. A quick ultrasound of your liver ought to set that matter straight, and then you can part company with the gallbladder and solve things. #If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
