There's nothing wrong with this, but if I were Hopkins taking a fight with Calzaghe, I'd make him come over here, to Vegas or Atlantic City. After all, Hopkins is the bigger name here.I think in terms of Joe's career it is a wise decision. He wants to fight a guy who would not be able to match his activity and consistent action (even if his punches are slaps). Instead, Calzaghe will get a huge pay day and the high profile match that his career has lacked through his long reign as champion.As s super-middleweight, there are not too many big-money fights to be made. Super-middle has always been a European-dominated division, and you saw what happened when Calzaghe went against the best offering from the US in Jeff Lacy. He is not an easy fight for Calzaghe just one that would make him money. He offered the current champ Taylor $4 million and is looking to fight any big American name.
